The library offers books, audio books, DVDs, videos, chromebooks, hotspots and periodicals.

HOW TO GET A LIBRARY CARD:

In order to receive a library card, you will need to bring in a photo ID and a separate proof of address (I.E. piece of mail, car registration, insurance card, etc.). You will then fill out an application card and we will make the card for you. Children are able to get a card when they turn five with a parent signature.

Movies check out for five days.  All other material are checked out on a two week basis.  We are a fine free library with no late fees.

Computers

PUBLIC ACCESS COMPUTERS:

We have 11 public access computers for patrons to use the internet.  Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are also available.  Patrons are very welcomed to access their web-based e-mail however chat is not available.  There is a 30 minute time limit on computers if someone is waiting. Computer support is available at the front desk.

CHROMEBOOKS:

We have four Chromebooks that are available for checkout to the public with your library card. To check one out, you must be 18 years of age and have a current library card in good standing with no late fees or overdue items. Chromebooks can be checked out free of charge for a period of one week with no renewals.

WI-FI HOTSPOT:

The Library now has 11 Wi-Fi Hotspots (5- T-Mobile, 6- Verizon) available to the public with your library card. To check one out, you must be 18 years of age and have a current library card in good standing with no late fees or overdue items. The hotspots can be checked out free of charge for a period of one week with no renewals. Wi-Fi Hotspots are about the size of a deck of cards and can connect up to 10 devices. Take the internet with you wherever you go with one of our Hotspots!

COPY, FAX, SCANNING:

Photo copies: 15 cents for black and white, 25 cents for color

Fax service:  $1.00 per page unless its 1-800 number or if it’s a local number.  We do not charge for incoming faxes.

Scanning service: Our first public access computer is always reserved for anyone needing to scan and upload any documents. If you need any help, please see the front desk.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN:

If there’s a book, movie, audio book, etc. that you need and the library does not own it we can InterLibrary loan it from another library.  There is no charge for this service.

GENEALOGY:

The library has a genealogy section that consists of census records, courthouse records, family histories, and other local histories.  Copies are available at .15 cents per page.

DEVICE SUPPORT:

If you are having trouble operating your devices, please call the library to set up an appointment for a one-on-one tech session.

Story Time- Fridays @ 10:30

Lego Club- Every 2nd Monday and 4th Thursday @ 4:00-5:00

Lunch Book Social- Last Tuesday of Every Month @ Noon

Bingo for Books- 3rd Monday of Every Month @ 1:00-2:00

Home School Group- 2nd Tuesday of Every Month (excluding: May-July and Nov.-Dec) @ 10:00

Annual Fall and Spring Book Sale: Always the first full week in May and October
